Cinnamon Pumpkin Patch Potpourri

 We have just created a new potpourri for Autumn 

 called Cinnamon Pumpkin Patch.

We mixed some bold fall colored
botanicals with our best-selling cinnamon sticks
 fragrance oil for a dynamic combination sure to
please. This potpourri can be paired with our
mulled cider, spice cranberry, and cinnamon stick
votive candles.

We always recommend a refresher oil with your
potpourri for long lasting fragrance.

You'll love our newest blend of potpourri for the
Autumn season.

Getting Ready for Fall!!

Lavender Body Mist/ Room Spray

This product is as natural as you can get, pure spring waters with
the pure essential oil of lavender. It can be used as a Body Mist or
try some on linens or as a Room Spray.  Lavender can help
us distress after a long hard day. We introduced this product
last season and had great success.  It also makes a wonderful
gift!! Available in 2 sizes: 2oz. & 4 oz. spray bottle.

Lavender Harvest is here at Country Cottage.

Lavender has been picked, dried and ready to ship.

We have already shipped  for weddings with this seasons

harvest. This years harvest was plentiful.

Herb Garden 2012

This year we planted lots of basil and its been loving

this hot and humid weather here in Michigan.

 The Spicy Globe Basil worked out great for

 bordering the garden and the scent is wonderful. 

We would highly recommend this herb.

Sweet Potato Pie Pillar Candles

Just made some wonderful smelling pillar candles in

an ever popular scent Sweet Potato Pie.

Scent Description:

Sweet Potato Pie -A rich combination of candied yams, marshmallow cream, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, orange zests, and a splash of lemon, in a warm buttery southern crust.

I love Lanterns, antique ones as well as old
looking reproductions. These rustic lanterns
are so versatile, they are great for porch displays
in the spring and summer
as well as seasonal decorations for
the holidays.
(Add a few fresh
greens and you have a great centerpiece.)

These are really primitive, they have a time-worn look,
made of straw. 

Very symbolic of yesterdays herb garden.

Primtiive Stitchery

"I Believe" Stitchery

A few years back, I was having a very hard time

trying to decide what path the Lord wanted me to

take. I decided to go for a drive up to a lakeside town,

I stopped by a quaint shop and found this sampler/stitchery frame.

It spoke volumes to me that day, I am so grateful to be offering

this stitchery. I hope it offers you inspiration as well.

It measures approximately 13" in height and about 14 3/4" wide.

The frame is a primitive brown.

New Garden Fairies

 We are always on the look out for muted and primitive 

garden accessories on our travels. We found these garden 

angels/fairies perfect for miniature gardens that are so popular

right now. We are carrying five different styles. They are made of 

cast iron and are very durable. Hope you enjoy!!
